Curt Westlake

Curt Westlake is a human being. This has been independently verified.

He confesses to spending his working life as an ad agency diehard. A stupid profession, it has nevertheless provided him a living and more than a few laughs. It has also provided an astonishing number of opportunities to observe and sometimes influence human behavior without raising suspicion. Over the years, those observations have earned him awards, an odd collection of cherished friendships, and an appreciation for just how wonderfully peculiar our species can be.

Inspired by Jane Goodall, a dream, and a persistent belief that optimism deserves more shelf space in science fiction, Curt wrote The Reveal with a simple premise: despite ourselves, we’re probably going to be okay.

He hopes readers finish the book having enjoyed a laugh or two, a little head scratching, and a more optimistic feeling about this strange experiment we call humanity.

He lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with his charming and tolerant wife, Leslie, where he continues his unofficial field research on our species.
